Over 4 acres of private Derbyshire land means that there is plenty of space for whatever outdoor activities you are interested in and the natural pond has been nurtured to provide a beautiful relaxing setting for you to sit and gather your thoughts, watch the array of wildlife or to partake in a spot of fishing!

Nether Burrows is the home to four large holiday cottages, each equipped for all your holiday needs. Meadow View and Willow Barn each sleep 14 people and are identical properties, perfect for larger groups with children. Sunshine Cottage was converted in 2008 and sleeps a maximum of 10 people. It has been completed to a luxurious finish with a modern twist on the country feel and has a relaxing hot tub on the terrace for you to warm up in on a chilly country evening.
The original Derbyshire Farmhouse at Nether Burrows has recently been refurbished to provide accommodation for 10 people and has a traditional feel of ‘where grandma used to live’! Click on the cottage names or pictures above to find out more information about each of them.
The secluded Derbyshire peak District location of Nether Burrows means that you can party without disturbing the neighbours or simply enjoy the tranquillity of the country location.
We believe that if you are coming on holiday with a group of friends you should be able to sit and eat together and enjoy each other’s company. You will find that all the living accommodation at Nether Burrows is centred around this philosophy providing large spacious areas in kitchens, living areas and games rooms to enable you to enjoy your holiday without getting under each other’s feet.
Please note that children are very welcome at Nether Burrows however we do operate a no pets and no smoking policy.
Each of the four cottages on site are self contained with their own parking areas and can be booked separately or as a group depending on your requirements.
Due to a number of requests in the past we can now also provide a ‘party pack’ to help your special celebrations run more smoothly.
Available by prior arrangement when booking with Sunshine Cottage, the ‘party pack’ consists of tables, chairs, table cloths, napkins, crockery, cutlery, glasses and table decorations to cater for up to 58 people in one room.
Our staff will come and set up the tables as you require and remove them the following day, all you have to do is put the plates in the dishwasher!
We can also recommend local Derbshire Peak District caterers to lighten the load of your party even more. By arrangement the site can also accommodate a marquee on the meadow for larger parties.
